Objectives of the Association (CHAP)

  • Member Support & Business Facilitation
    To provide technical, professional, legal, and logistic support to members for smooth operations in the competitive IT hardware market.
    – To establish a dedicated support desk for guidance on import documentation, taxation, and regulatory compliance.
    – To resolve member grievances by liaising with relevant authorities in a timely and effective manner.
  • Policy Advocacy & Representation
    To identify challenges faced by the IT hardware community and advocate for favorable business policies at federal and provincial levels.
    – To lobby for reduced taxation, streamlined import/export regulations, and industry-friendly policies.
    – To represent members in public and private forums to protect their interests in trade and services.
  • Government Liaison & Trade Coordination
    – To build strong communication channels with government bodies and regulatory authorities for effective representation and trade facilitation.
    – To participate in policy-making discussions and regulatory consultations affecting the IT hardware industry.
    – To nominate CHAP representatives for committees and advisory panels at national and provincial levels.
  • Industry Promotion & Economic Contribution
    – To highlight the role and contribution of the IT hardware industry in Pakistan’s economy.
    – To organize industry-focused events, expos, and campaigns that promote modernization and digital transformation.
    – To ensure consumer awareness of quality standards and original hardware product usage.
  • Skill Development & IT Education
    – To establish training and skill development centers in collaboration with schools, colleges, technical institutes, and universities.
    – To provide vocational training, certification courses, internships, and scholarships to youth and professionals.
    – To integrate relevant IT hardware modules into educational curricula nationwide.
  • Capacity Building & Knowledge Sharing
    – To organize seminars, workshops, and conferences for knowledge transfer, best practices, and capacity building.
    – To raise awareness about global trends, technological advancements, and market competitiveness within the IT hardware sector.
    – To support digital literacy initiatives and bridge the digital divide.
  • National & International Networking
    – To create networking platforms that connect local traders with national and international IT hardware vendors, OEMs, and manufacturers.
    – To sign MOUs with global brands, technical institutions, and trade associations to facilitate mutual growth.
    – To organize B2B forums and trade delegations to explore joint ventures and technology transfer.
  • Research & Development
    – To conduct industry research and publish reports on market trends, pricing, product demand, and technological shifts.
