The first meeting of the Executive Directors of the Computer Hardware Association of Pakistan (CHAP) was successfully held in Islamabad on 29 October 2025.

This meeting marked an important milestone in CHAP’s journey toward uniting, empowering, and representing Pakistan’s IT hardware business community. The session brought together Executive Directors for a focused discussion on CHAP’s vision, future direction, industry priorities, and the collective role required to strengthen Pakistan’s technology and hardware sector.

The meeting reflected a strong commitment to collaboration, transparency, and progress. Participants shared valuable insights and reaffirmed their dedication to supporting CHAP’s mission of promoting fair business practices, improving the ease of doing IT business, and representing the concerns of the computer hardware community at the national level.

Speaking on the occasion, Umer Farooq Farooqi, Founder Executive Director and Chairman of the Media, PR & Publications Committee, thanked all Executive Directors for their participation, contributions, and commitment to CHAP’s vision. He highlighted that their collective wisdom and dedication will play a vital role in shaping policies, strengthening the industry’s foundation, and making CHAP a respected voice for Pakistan’s technology sector.
